Announcement on the Adjustment of the Library’s 3rd Floor Reading and Office Area
Dear teachers, students, and colleagues.：
In response to the needs of academic development and spatial adjustments, the reading and office service area on the 3rd floor of the Library Building will undergo spatial relocations starting from April. The detailed explanation is as follows:
(1) The Computer and Photocopy Area on the 3rd floor will be relocated to the area on the left after exiting the elevator on the 4th floor. It is to begin operation starting from May 1st.
Equipment relocation is scheduled for April 29th and 30th. During this period, please use the facilities at the Learning Plaza on the 1st floor or the information access area on the 4th floor.
(2) The Sorting Room on the 3rd floor will be relocated to IL0516 on the 5th floor. It is expected to open on April 16th.
(3) The New Arrivals on the 3rd floor will be relocated to the area on the right after exiting the elevator on the 4th floor for display. It is expected to reopen in early May.
(4) The Reading Area by the windows on the 3rd floor will be relocated to the southeast side of the 4th floor (the original reference book area). Adjustments are scheduled to be made gradually after the midterms.
(5) The Learning Commons on the 3rd floor will be transformed into a school-wide instructional educational space. Construction is planned to begin after the finals.
(6) The Study Hall on the 1st floor will undergo electrical renovation after the finals and is expected to reopen in September.
(7) The Administrative Office Area on the 3rd floor (Director, Supervisor, and Intelligent Operations Office) will also be relocated to the 4th floor during this period.
Library entry and circulation for borrowing and returning books will still be serviced at the original location on the 3rd floor. We apologize for any inconvenience caused during the period of relocations. Thank you for your understanding.
