How can I renew my books when they are about to be overdue?

For faculty, students, alumni of our university, and the VIPs, the loan period for each book is 30 days (180 days for full-time faculty). If there are no reservations on the book, you can renew it online when the loan period is about to end. However, if it has reached the maximum loan period, you won't be able to renew it online. In such case, if you still need to borrow the book, please bring the item to the Circulation Counter on the 3rd floor of the library to process the borrowing again. The maximum loan period varies depending on your status, please refer to the "Circulation Rules" webpage for details. Please note that if you renew after three days of overdue, any accumulated overdue fines will be settled in your account.

After renewal, if someone else reserves the book, the system will automatically start the recall process and send a "Due Date Change Notice" to you.

For readers with the original 30-day loan period (faculty, students, etc.), if the book is reserved, the system will automatically initiate the recall process, and please return the book within 14 days.

For readers with the original 180-day loan period (full-time lecturers and above), if the book is reserved, the system will automatically initiate the recall process, and please return the book within 30 days.

If a reservation is canceled, the system will automatically revert to the original due date. Please pay attention to your personal library account.
