What to do if the borrowed library book is accidentally lost?

  1. Please double-check if the book is misplaced somewhere or if you lent it to someone and they haven't returned it.
  2. If you confirm that the book is lost, you can either purchase the same or a new edition of the book and bring it to the service desk on the third floor of the library to handle the lost item compensation.
  3. If the book is out of print, or you are unable to purchase the same book in the market, please directly visit the service desk on the third floor of the library to proceed with the compensation process. We will charge you based on the book's price recorded in the library catalog, plus an additional handling fee of 100 NT dollars.
  4. If the book you lost is overdue, you will also need to pay overdue fines.
