IEEE (IEL) Fully OA Journal Submission Preferential Plan 

Starting from 2023, schools that subscribe to the IEEE online database within the alliance will enjoy a 20% discount on APC for Gold OA submissions, including our university. The following is the relevant information about the IEEE OA Alliance Submission Plan discount program:

IEEE Gold OA Alliance Submission Plan Instructions

The IEEE CONCERT Alliance special offer program provides IEL subscribers within the alliance with APC discounts for Gold OA submissions.

Eligibility:

The corresponding author of the alliance IEL subscriber school should use the school email logged in to the system or the official English school name (without abbreviation) or department information, it is recommended to use the drop-down menu) for verification.

Applicable Discount:

1. Free submission points (corresponding points will be sent according to each school’s classification).

Default usage options (based on reports from administrators)  

1. According to the order of submission application, first come first served. Institutional administrator will send a notice to IEEE Information.
2. When you receive an application from an author, please contact the institutional administrator to confirm to whether to use it before contacting the author.
3. It is not in use for the time being. If you want to use it, please contact IEEE Information and inform us of the usage method.

2. Gold OA APC submission points have a discount price of USD$1,596. (The amount will be converted into New Taiwan dollars when making payment)

Alliance Project Subscription Process:

1. IEEE will send the payment link to the corresponding author's email.
2. Select the payment method on the payment link and pay, fill in the basic information needed. Once completed, the submission process is completed. (If the payer’s name & email are different from those of the corresponding author, please indicate in the remarks to facilitate verification)
3. The New Taiwan Dollar electronic invoice copy will be sent after submission is completed.

Institutional Administrator Process

Rule of Thumb

1. APC special price list 
2. Click to confirm individual manuscripts to confirm whether author has special discount member (ex: society member)
3. Points may not be matched due to the time difference between points being imported

The alliance plan is 20% off the IEEE 2024 APC price.

50. Please select the payment method through payment link exclusive to the institutional plan, and follow the instructions (The system will display the amount has been converted to the equivalent in New Taiwan Dollars)

After the payment is successful, you will receive:

1) Notification letter of system payment completion

2) Notification letter of successful application for program support

3) New Taiwan Dollar electronic invoice certificate
